“Halloween is one of the most enjoyable days of the year for children, but the NYPD says parents should be aware of the potential risks that can affect children who are not supervised properly. Police are reminding parents that trick-or-treaters should always have adult supervision, even if they are traveling in a group of friends, “to ensure that the only scary experiences children have are those associated with the spirit of Halloween.” The NYPD has issued the following recommendations for parents and guardians.”(more)
