Outside the Box – Deborah Durbin

On March 10, Enrichment program students made toys for a local animal shelter. Using colorful strips of fleece, the students braided dog tug toys. As part of the activity, older students were paired with younger students to teach the basics of braiding. Having an extra set of hands also helped to make the braids tight, ensuring a good, strong toy that will last for hours of puppy playtime.  Special recognition to the families who donated the fleece for this activity. Thanks for another great program, Ms. Spradley.
