“It’s that time again, time for the release of everyone’s summer safety tips. Here at Child Trends, our safety tips are based on—what else?—data! First, your suspicion is correct: June, July, and August are more dangerous for children than other months , at least if we use deadly unintentional injuries as the measure (see graph).
