“Has your child been diagnosed with something you thought only adults could get? Turns out that’s not an uncommon occurrence, especially when a child is overweight, experts told the Chicago Tribune. In fact, children often suffer from fatty liver disease, hypertension and osteoporosis — as well as sleep apnea, Type 2 diabetes and high cholesterol levels — because they are overweight, experts said. Part of this is because children don’t know how much food they should consume on a daily basis, the Tribune reported.”(more)
