“Work ethic is something that can be an inherited trait but more often than not, it is something that teens learn from their parents. By starting from an early age with small tasks such as making the bed daily or keeping a room clean, a foundation is laid that the motivation for work ethic has to come from within. That same work ethic as teenagers is what will help teens earn money at their first jobs and will help as they move into the professional world as well. But just because they learned some of their work ethic as younger kids does not mean that lessons should end when kids are being parented in their teenage years. As such, parents should continue to help their teens develop a strong work ethic.” (more)
