“Summer is coming up and presents a great opportunity for kids to catch up on their reading skills. RIF’s website suggests that “children who do not read over the summer will lose more than two months of reading achievement,” and that this loss is cumulative and will add up over the summers when kids don’t read as much as they should, putting them far behind their classmates who complete summer reading lists.”(more)
