“Randy Ziegenfuss spent 34 years working in public education. He started as a music teacher, worked on improving technology in the Salisbury Township school district in eastern Pennsylvania and spent six years as district superintendent before retiring early this year. As a clinical adjunct professor of education at Moravian College, a small liberal arts school in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, he spends a lot of time thinking about how to improve public education in America. He believes the traditional approach puts too much emphasis on students’ compliance with rules and not enough on individual students’ agency.” (more)
