“A dispute over the future of bilingual education in the Newman-Crows Landing Unified School District has found its way into the courts. A Stanislaus County Superior Court judge last week denied a request for a temporary restraining order which effectively would have blocked the district’s decision to terminate the bilingual program in place at the first- and second-grade levels at Hunt and Von Renner.”(more)
