“The Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has said that more testing needs to happen in schools to prevent them from having to quarantine. The world thought that there was a glimmer of hope when it came to the pandemic, and it seemed like the worst was behind everyone. However, the new variant, Omicron, is showing to be more contagious than previous strains and it is jeopardizing the reopening of the country and the world. This means that schools may be in jeopardy of shutting down again and moving to remote learning unless action is taken.” (more)
