“State lawmakers say they will introduce a constitutional amendment to address the ruling, a process that could take at least a year because it requires a two-thirds vote of the state House and Senate and the approval of voters. In all, 16 schools were affected by the ruling, but the fates of a dozen are at stake Tuesday after a handful of them already were able to gain approval or have decided to delay opening.”(more)
