“A university is doing its part to help reduce the nationwide shortage of chemistry teachers. Benedictine University in Illinois is hoping that extra grant money for students will help boost the number of educators who are teaching science and math to students in needy school districts. The university continues to offer $10,000 tuition scholarships to students willing to teach science, technology, engineering and mathematics in school districts that have a high percentage of students participating in free and reduced lunch programs.”(more)
