The Meadville Tribune – August Scott Yeager
“Kids go to school every day to learn subjects that are seen as important to most people. There are multiple subjects that they learn such as reading, English, social studies and math. Almost every school across the nation includes these subjects for at least 10 minutes a day so kids will learn needed skills. Math used to be considered one of the most important subjects, but now schools are lessening the amount of time that focuses in math. Math is in most things, so it should be easier to have math time in schools. Schools have lowered the amount of math time that the average kid gets. When they lose time that focuses on math, kids are not learning the skills they need.” (more)
