“Thousands of Sacramento-area parents are preparing to send their children back to school campuses in the weeks ahead. Both Folsom Cordova Unified and Natomas Unified announced they will bring students back in November. Other Sacramento County school districts are planning to reopen their campuses in early January. Schools are getting ready: moving desks six feet apart, buying plexiglass for offices and laying out signs to direct the flow of traffic in hallways. New studies, like one from Brown University, suggest that schools are not super-spreaders of the coronavirus. But children are not immune, and can be transmitters of the virus. ” (more)
