Forbes – David Rosowsky
“Higher education was among the most challenged industries (and institutions) in the US as the pandemic unfolded, evolved, and endured. For most colleges and universities, institutional response was nearly as quick as market response. Response in Year 1 was swift and largely (and to some, surprisingly) effective, perhaps best characterized by the terms “pivot” and “quarantine.” There were new mandates around testing, isolation, social distancing, face masks, and sanitizing (hands as well as surfaces). Year 2 was more of a “settling in” year. We knew what to do, we had learned much, and we understood how to maintain continuity even as the pandemic raged on and new variants emerged.” (more)
