“The Georgia Department of Education is offering free tutoring to high school juniors who don’t pass the math portion of the state’s graduation test this year. The state is doing away with the high school graduation test, which is required to get a diploma, in favor of tests taken at the end of each course. Educators say end-of-course tests are a better measure of student learning.” (more)
