The San Diego Union-Tribune – Lisa Deaderick
“Kid Spark Education is a nonprofit that offers a STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) education program to educators, schools and related organizations in order to introduce those subjects to students at an early age, beginning in pre-kindergarten and continuing through eighth grade. Founded in 2015, Kid Spark Education’s programs have been all over the United States and in more than a dozen countries, in schools, libraries, after-school programs and camps and nonprofits. They’ve also developed an Emerging Engineers Program, in which they partner with donors to underwrite its approximately $12,000 cost, and are implementing the program in county schools this year to make STEM education available on a regular basis to younger children.” (more)
