“It is a scenario that many parents can recognize and relate with, they ask their child how their day was and they respond with “fine.” It can be so hard to get information out of our children when all we want to know is what they did in school or daycare that day. We know that it is important to be invested in our child’s schooling and life, but parents can often feel disconnected because their child does not open up to them about what they did that day.
