“Even adults can have a hard time making decisions sometimes, so it is reasonable to expect that children would struggle with it as well. When a child has to make a decision, there seems like a million options and they all may appear like the best. Letting our children make choices is important for their development as well. It can help them develop a sense of identity and independence. It doesn’t have to be large life decisions, but small decisions like what they want to wear or what they want in their lunches for school can be incredibly helpful and beneficial.” (more)
