Position Summary:
• Teach Chinese language arts
• All instruction will be in Chinese
Key Requirements:
• Native fluency in Chinese required
• Minimum of BA/BS or equivalent and at least 100 hours of documented experience teaching elementary
• Math and science background helpful, but not required
• Professional work experience desirable
• Strong classroom management skills is a must
• Applicant must enjoy working with young children, since the school wants all its students to love learning
Compensation:
• 190 day assignment
• Salary + Benefits
• Tuition discount for children of faculty member – 50% full-time / 25% part-time
• Free childcare for children three years and older during before and after school programs
• Opportunities for annual performance based raises
• Possibility of augmeting salary with summer assignment (July and August)
