“Colorado high schools graduated more students on time — within four years — in 2010 than the year before, according to state data released Wednesday that uses a new formula established by the U.S. Department of Education. But a separate report released by the state last week shows that many graduates are still not prepared for college-level courses, and their remediation needs cost in-state colleges $19 million in the 2009-10 school year, up from $13 million the year before.”(more)
