“Parents in the United States want to have more say in the public school curriculum their kids are being taught and have taken steps to gain more control and have more access. The last two school years have been hard and controversial. There has been a political divide created in schools that has found its way into the classroom. As a result, parents are attending school board meetings a lot more with the intent of having a say in how schools teach controversial topics such as race, history, sex education, and religion.” (more)
