“Remote learning challenges have been underscored as a result of standardized test scores falling for the 2020-2021 school year. And as a result of the low scores and the percentage of students who did not participate in the tests whatsoever, though they were required, the fear is that students are further behind in subjects like math and language arts than anticipated. But without accurate scores, many believe the real picture will not be revealed until next year after all students have been required to take standardized tests for the 2021-2022 school year.” (more)
