“On that Feb. 8 morning, the students were learning Mandarin Chinese as part of a pilot program. It was the last day of a month’s worth of lessons. The private high school is gauging interest to see if it should offer Chinese as an elective, perhaps as early as next year. If so, it joins a handful of schools in the greater Baton Rouge area that offer Chinese instruction.”(more)
