“Assemblyman Allan Mansoor (R-Costa Mesa) has proposed legislation that would require schools to obtain parents’ permission before students could take sex ed classes. Assembly Bill 1348 would, among other things, require schools to receive parental permission for “providing classroom education related to sex, family life, morality, religion, gender or sexual orientation,” according to a press release his office issued late Tuesday afternoon.” (more)
