“The economic downturn is affecting Garcia’s plans and the dreams of other college students, according to a study released by the Forum of Education Abroad. Of the institutions surveyed, 66 percent reported that the global economy affected study abroad programs and 59 percent saw a decrease in their education abroad enrollment compared with 2008.”(more)
