“Research has shown that when individuals miss school a lot from their kindergarten years up to eighth grade, they will experience serious difficulties in their adult life. The study that was documented in the Journal of Youth and Adolescence showed that early education was very important, and those who missed classes a lot in their early school years are likely to suffer economic hardships, get poor academic results, and are less likely to vote in their young adult life. According to Arya Ansari, an assistant professor of Human Sciences at Ohio State University and the lead author in the research explained that school attendance should be taken seriously beginning in Kindergarten.” (more)
