“Those of us who aren’t that confident when it comes to math know well that feeling of anxiety when faced with a problem requiring complex calculations. That anxiety, it turns out, is more than just a case of jitters. A new study by a team of scientists at Stanford University’s School of Medicine shows that the brain function of young elementary school kids who suffer from math anxiety differs from those who don’t, according to a report on the university’s website.”(more)
