“A new study by researchers at the University of Illinois and published in Pediatrics found that kids who are active and exercise have better fat distribution than those who did not…Interestingly, the non-exercising children in the control group – even the average weight kids – had higher total body fat mass and a higher percentage of fat around their abdomens…With summer approaching and more free time, parents need to remember to get their kids moving.”(more)
