“A recent poll of American adolescents found most boys feel pressured to be strong and many feel they are expected to hide their emotions when they are sad. The Plan International USA poll, which surveyed 10- to 19-year-olds earlier this year, found that in 2018, boys still feel as if they are bound to project stereotypical male behaviors, even if they don’t want to.” (more)
