“Teaching our kids proper etiquette and manners is really important for our children to grow into respectful adults. Almost everything we do with our kids can be a great lesson in being polite and kind to others and the world around us. Being a nice and productive member of society with good manners is a social skill that needs to be taught at a young age. It’s much easier to teach toddlers than sullen teenagers some proper manners and etiquette, and the proper ways to treat others and behave. Your child doesn’t need to know what a salad fork is or know the proper ways to curtsy or bow, but they should say ‘please’ and ‘thank you” and know how to behave in public and in the homes of others.” (more)
