“Teens with learning disabilities do not want to be different. They would do anything to just blend in with the rest of their peers and just be “normal.” But when there is a learning disability present, blending in during class becomes difficult. Because of this, teens may experience feelings of rebellion, anger, anxiety, or even depression when it comes to having a learning disorder. And that is why finding ways to uplift high schoolers who are ashamed of their learning disability is so important so that they realize that they may have a learning disability, but it does not define them.” (more)
