“Everyone seems to agree that success or failure in the education sector is going to be crucial in determining whether Pakistan moves towards progress and development over the next few decades or towards chaos and implosion. Our population, by the middle of the century, is likely to be more than 300 million . . . One can see why education is going to be crucial. If the youth are educated, we will have one of the best resources in the world. But if they are not, it will be almost impossible to meet even the basic needs of a population this size.”(more)
