“In comparison to other generations, kids today have a good grasp on the fact that it is necessary to take care of the planet and that climate change is occurring. Even if it is just the understanding that certain items get recycled or to turn a light off in a room if not in use, it has become second nature to ensure these things happen. What may not be as clear is why taking care of the planet became a topic of conversation in the first place. And with it being the day to celebrate the earth, it is a great time to explain what Earth Day is and why it is celebrated.” (more)
